Job Summary
To be responsible for strategizing, steering and stimulating the business operations of the organization by developing strategic plan that provides direction to the organization and ensure the operations are in accordance with vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Management Develop strategic objectives, including setting up of organization’s agenda and priorities
- Lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of service delivery and strategic development of functions within the organization
- Ensure the banquet hall functions in accordance with the standard operating procedures and policies set by the organization
- Sort out the emerging issues that could possibly impact the future growth of the company
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Be responsible for formulation of operating and capital expenditure budgets and ensure organizational expenditures are within the allocated budget
Operations Management
- Monitor all operations of the banquet hall to ensure the preparedness to host an event at any time of the year
- Monitor the operations of the company to ensure performance of operations are in keeping with the strategic objectives of the organization
Aesthetics & Service Fulfilment
- Ensure that the aesthetics of the property are in keeping with the prevailing sensibilities of the general population
- Promote 100% guest satisfaction and instil the same to the organization culture
- Ensure that all guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proper communication and effective planning
Quality Management
- Ensure vendors such as caterers for events follow stipulated standards of quality
- Ensure client feedback is collected and analysed for possible improvements
Community & Stakeholders Relations
- Serve as official spokesperson for the organization and promote collaborative cooperation towards achieving a collective vision of prosperity in the organization
- Provide suitable manpower in sufficient quantity to ensure the organization runs at optimal efficiency
- Responsible to manage employees and ensure the interests and welfare of the employees are preserved and protected
