Architecture led multidisciplinary practice in GCC seeks Revit Leader with a minimum 10 years proven experience in managing Revit and ideally a wider BIM environment in similar multidisciplinary practice.

The job would entail:
• Piloting the introduction of Revit into a company with approximately 200 office staff in two offices across eight disciplines in a transition from conventional AutoCad practice. Disciplines are Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, HVAC, Electrical Engineering and Public Health/plumbing Engineering.
• Coordination with training agency during the initial four month formal training phase (by others) commencing in early November 2015.
• Strategic management of Revit on all projects following its introduction.
• Development and roll-out of BIM system suitable for the company's existing business model.
• Expert knowledge of Revit sufficient to develop company databases, standards, templates, model structuring, families, SSL scripts, etc.
• Briefing of company management on progress on Revit and BIM within the company.
• Management of team of Revit support assistants (one per discipline) in the day to day running of Revit and subsequently BIM systems.
• Liaison with company IT department in development and maintenance of IT network and advice to IT department on specification of company IT infrastructure to meet Revit and BIM requirements.
• Experience in communicating with several disciplines in integration of Revit as a cross disciplinary coordination tool.
• Knowledge of AutoCad essential, other software including Rhino, sketch-up, photoshop desirable but not essential.
• Architectural or architectural technology background preferred.
• Ordinary degree BSc in Architecture or Interior Design essential.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills essential. Arabic language skills desirable.
