Direct the Cafe & Lounge operations and maintain high standards of food, service, health and safety.
Main Responsibilities :
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
• Licensing authorities, sales representatives etc.
• Maintain business records.
• Prepare and analyze management reports.
• Determine and execute operating improvements.
• Identify and evaluate competitors.
• Keep current with trends in the cafe lounge industry.
• Promoting and marketing the business overseeing stock levels.
• Analyze food and beverage costs and assign menu prices.
• Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
• Producing staff rotations.
• Handling administration and paperwork.
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints
• Taking reservations
• Greeting and advising customers
• Problem solving
• Ensure correct storage of supplies.
• Check and order supplies of food and non-food items.
• Provide total receipts and reconcile with sales
• Check quality of deliveries and documentation.
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
