Purpose/Overview:
• Executing all cash count back audits & activities related to the Security Services in all regions as well as handling cash security as well as monitoring the compliance with the company’s preset policies and procedures in this regard.
• Ensure proper reporting to the Management in line with all above activities findings and observations.
Key Accountabilities:
Financial/Monetary: (Revenue/Cost):
• Ensure to report all policy breaches that have finance impact.
• Collecting the losses whenever possible during investigations and report back to Management.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure full compliance Cash/ ATM replenishment/ reconciliation in all regions.
• Review and raise comments on the security regulations, policies, procedures and process related to cash operations and ensure that all staff comply with the approved authorities and responsibilities.
Key tasks:
• Carry out Compliance and audits checks on cash branches, centers and locations and ensure that Security reports are verified to ensure proper integrity of such documents.
• Carry out overt and covert ATM replenishments.
• Check processes and procedures are being followed in the cash centers.
• Assist whenever needed, in theft or loss investigations being carried out by the investigators.
• Ensure any security defects to equipment such as; vehicles, CCTV, alarm systems, locks, doors, gates/ barriers and safes are reported and repaired promptly. Monitor service frequencies and ATMs checks while on site.
• Coordinate and conduct customer site surveys for secure to secure areas.
• Provide weekly report on checks being carried out in the regions.
• Be on call to deal with issues as they arise.
• Coordinate local cash counts under each region
• Identify discrepancies in cash received and escalate to management.
• Use Viper track and trace system to ensure integrity of container audit trails.
• Ensure all company security procedures are adhered to at all times and by all team members.
• Observe all Health & Safety requirements whilst within the cash center.
