The Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Sales summary and showrooms sales checking and assuring of cash deposits
• Stock Control functions as well
• Allocating customs payments to orders as part of costing process
• Receivables and collection issues (Real-estate tenants, Customer’s collections controlling in all showrooms, other collections)
• Controlling full cash cycle by performing bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
• Money laundry and other related governmental requirements (if any)
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Responsible for the month end close, monthly journal entries (prepare and input) and reconciliations
• Prepares balance sheet profit and loss statement for the desired brands, and other financial reports
• All enquiries and follow up with all banks in Kuwait
• Maintaining financial records and processing related data such as invoices, vouchers and other documents; monitor and reconcile accounts with detailed financial statements.
• Analyze financial information and prepare complex financial reports and statements reflecting various data for utilization by higher management.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
SUPERVISION REQUIRED/GIVEN:
• Receives general supervision from the accounts manager
