OPERATIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be responsible to drive sales and achieve the targets set.
• Greeting customers while entering the Gear shop, Call names if they are Arena members.
• Be responsible Receiving and storing the delivery of stock, stock control, timely reporting the inventory and request stock.
• Be responsible for all cash and card payments transactions takes place and report any discrepancies to the Member Services Manager.
• To merchandise the products in a professional way to attract customers
• Answer queries from customers and giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
• To perform the cashing up duties at the end of the shift and submit to the reception for the close out.
• To deal with customer complaints, damaged items/exchanges/refunds/returns.
• Remain updated on products offered in the Gear shop and the market.
• To Keep the Gear shop tidy and clean all the time of operation.
• To work within Arena’s established guidelines, policies and procedures.
• To be responsible for security within the store for shoplifters, fraudulent credit cards etc.
• To keep up to date with special promotions and update the marketing in digital screens.
• To create a world-class customer experience by providing passionate customer service and selling through customer engagement
• To demonstrate ability to genuinely interact with customers to show passion, knowledge, dedication, and commitment in their sport or discipline.
• To be willing to ‘go an extra mile’ as business needs arise.
• Daily interface with the Member Service Team on the weekly schedule
• To answer all incoming telephone calls and further their enquiry to the correct departments.
• To communicate regularly with all members through Service calls, and collect feedback on member experience.
• To work on different shifts as required by the business.
• To perform club opening/closing procedure and report faults/issues if any to the Member Services Manager.
• To perform Club Walk-about(s) minimum 4 times a shift, to ensure, maintain and continually contribute to the overall cleanliness of the club.
• To communicate with all members 3 months prior to the membership expiry, aiming to renew and retain the members for a longer period.
• To be accountable for keeping ‘TILL FLOAT’ and other Cash safe in the till, during the shift.
• To team up with other team members to ensure proper communication, smooth functioning of the department and to enhance member experience.
• To attend training & development programs conducted by the management to learn & upskill.
• To perform the cashing up duties at the end of your shift and perform duties as required by your Member Services Manager.
• To take care of any lost property and log it in the lost properties folder.
• Accurately cash up at the end of your shift and account for all transactions during your shift.
• To always wear your correct uniform and name badge.
• To keep reception area free of litter as food and drinks are not allowed behind reception.
• To maintain the reception files and folders as per Arena standards.
• To coordinate all booking of treatments, personal training and orientations
• To be knowledgeable of all areas of the club i.e., timetables treatments, membership prices, renewal/upgrade offers.
• To provide a sales support to the sales team on tours or administration.
• To support the Member Services Manager and action reports and information required for weekly/ monthly meetings.
• Handle guest comments and complaints professional take ownership of the issues
• To always, be on time for your shift.
• To attend regular department meetings and to record minutes for the Club General Manager.
• To always be polite to members and always use member’s names when greeting them on entry.
