-JOB PURPOSE
Ensure high level of after sales service and customer service in the region for all Grundfos customers, by reviewing pump and component related repair, cost of repairs, performance and reliability issues and providing technical and analytical support to achieve higher productivity.
To plan, prioritize and ensure repair of pumps & controls are carried out in accordance to the agreed work scope and also meeting the agreed contractual turnaround time, to be able to provide continuous support to customers’ maintenance requirements.
-JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist in site service and trouble shooting of pumping systems. Support in commissioning of boosters / pumping systems and workshop service.
Assist in preparation of Technical evaluation of service reports.
Participate in evaluation of warranty claims. Review all justifications for the rejection of warranty and substantiate the reasons for rejections.
Support in follow-ups and coordination with customers, where required, for on going repairs & maintenance. Assist in service training for customers.
Assist in preparing and submitting quotations for repairs. Review component/pumps cost of repairs and consult with the customer for optimizing the repair process.
Liaise with other Sections in consultation with the LM on all aspect of repair and ensure high level of coordination. Assist in providing technical support to sales.
Participate in preparing reports on Service activities (including feedback from distributors / customers) highlighting issues that need to be monitored and requiring corrective action, in order to maintain a total quality service standard.
