The Boeing Company is seeking for the Maintenance Test Pilot to be a member of the Apache Team in support of the BSA military customer as the Apache AH-64E Maintenance Test Pilots. This position is contingent upon contract award
Primary responsibilities:
This is a Maintenance Test Pilot role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- The MTP is fully qualified and current in Aviation Intermediate Maintenance and Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVIM/AVUM) scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support the fleet.
- The MTP will provide supplemental on-the-job training to customer personnel to augment formal classroom training.
- The Maintenance Test Pilot plans and conducts maintenance test flights, Demonstrates or leads the maintenance test process.
- Identifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolution.
- Plans coordinates and conducts delivery ferry support and functional test flights on customer aircrafts.
- Serves as Pilot-In-Command.
- Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Possesses general knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects
- Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Interacts frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers.
• Represents the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Develops solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Pay and benefits are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. Relocation benefits are available. Successful candidates must be Saudi nationals or be able to obtain and maintain legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia for continued employment. The company will support the employee and administer the immigration process, but the candidate is ultimately responsible to obtain legal authorization as such authorization is determined by Saudi Arabia based on the applicant's education and personal background.
