AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is the market leader for hydrants, water & waste water valves in Saudi Arabia and are supplying more than 10 other markets in the region as well as exporting to Europe and Asia.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team, specifically our Aramco Unit, located at our offices in Dammam. Reporting to the Aramco Unit Manager, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving performance across a varied portfolio of products and maintain and develop strong relations with selected customers within the AVK Aramco Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and develop strong relations with selected customers within the AVK Aramco Business Unit.
• Clarify and map the customers’ requirements / needs.
• Through daily visits to the various customer contact points:
• Identify potential projects (new and maintenance).
• Clarify and influence end customer specifications for new and on-going projects, with customers, end customers, and their consultants, and propose AVK solutions during design stage, or as early as possible in the project.
• Prepare technical submittals, and secure qualification in projects
• Secure relevant approvals for AVK products in the projects.
• Identify and clarify stake holders in projects.
• Establish and maintain relations to stake holders in projects.
• Execute trainings for relevant customer staff:
• General training on relevant AVK products.
• Operation and maintenance training on relevant AVK products.
• Identify key stake holders in customer, and end customers organizations.
• Coordinate with AVK Product Development department to secure optimal product selection, and appropriate training of stake holders.
• Responsible for achieving unit sales and profit targets, on a monthly and annual basis, as established by the company.
• Overall responsible for securing orders, and secure delivery times, which is complying with AVK standard (and customers requirement).
• Responsible for securing payment and commercial terms in line with company policy. And securing that money is being paid timely by customers.
• Various ad hoc assignments
