Responsible for supporting the ECM platform by executing the following:



  • Application Development

    • Understanding the business requirements for ECM applications and assisting with the selection of third-party suppliers (e.g. authoring relevant sections of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), evaluating and approving ECM platform deployment)

    • Maintaining a knowledge of ECM technologies, and evaluating and recommending new ECM-platform based business solutions



  • Release & Deployment Management

    • Ensuring appropriate planning, scheduling, stakeholder management to move ECM business applications service releases through pre-production and production environments while protecting the integrity of the production environment



  • Service Validation & Testing

    • Monitoring ECM business applications integration testing, developing post-release reviews, and ensuring that the service releases meet the needs of the users



  • Change Evaluation and Management

    • Evaluating the impact of change in ECM business applications on the confidentiality, integrity and availability of services

    • Approving/rejecting ECM business application lifecycle transitions while minimizing disruption to ongoing service delivery



  • Knowledge Management

    • Maintain 100% accurate information about the configuration of the ECM business applications

    • Gathering, analyzing, storing and sharing ECM business applications services knowledge (e.g. interface design document) within the organization as needed



  • Project Management

    • Ensure ECM-application projects follow the EIT PMO framework and are on time, on budget, and on scope

    • Responsible for the overall initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of ECM-application projects through third-party system-integration suppliers

    • Create and maintain project plan and schedule for the backlog of software defects, minor enhancements, and the delivery of minor releases by IT Platform Configurators / Developers (ITPCDs)



  • Stakeholder Management, Governance and Performance Management Activities

    • Managing relationships with third-party suppliers, IT functional groups and service users throughout the deployment of IT business applications

    • Ensuring compliance with the IT Group governance framework

    • Reporting on the performance of IT business application services against the targets




Performing other related duties or assignments as directed by IT Service Delivery Manager
