Responsible for network and security operations performance monitoring and management by executing the following:

• Capacity Management:

  • Supervising the allocation and provision of sufficient capacity to deliver agreed upon IT service level targets in a cost effective and timely manner, considering resources required to meet business objectives
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Availability Management
  
  • 
    
  • Defining, analyzing, planning and measuring availability of relevant IT services by ensuring availability of appropriate components (e.g. IT infrastructure, processes, tools, roles) for the agreed targets
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Event Management
  
  • 
    
  • Monitoring events that occur within IT environment, and detecting and escalating exception conditions
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Access Management
  
  • 
    
  • Granting authorized users access to IT services, while preventing access for non-authorized users based on IMCTC related policies
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Incident Management
  
  • 
    
  • Restoring normal service operation in response to an incident in line with service-level agreement (SLA) to minimize impact on business operations
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• IT Operations Control
  
  • 
    
  • Monitoring and controlling IT services and underlying IT infrastructure by conducting routine operational activities (e.g. job scheduling, backup and restore activities, routine maintenance)
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Facilities Management
  
  • 
    
  • Managing the physical environment where the IT infrastructure is located (e.g. power and cooling, building access management, and environmental monitoring)
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• IT Service Continuity Management
  
  • 
    
  • Managing risks that could impact IT services (e.g. mitigating risks from disaster events, IT services recovery)
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Problem Management
  
  • 
    
  • Managing and documenting the lifecycle of all problems (e.g. trends identification, proactive problem identification)
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Request Fulfillment Management
  
  • 
    
  • Fulfilling IT service requests (e.g. requests to change a password or requests for information)
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Stakeholder Management, Governance and Performance Management Activities
  
  • 
    
  • Managing relationships with the Head of IT, other IT functional groups, IT service end-users, and third-party suppliers throughout the operations of IT solutions
  • 
    
  • Ensuring the IT Service Operations functional group’s compliance with the EIT Group’s governance framework and related activities
  • 
    
  • Setting the targets for, and tracking the performance of the IT Service Operations functional group
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  

Performing other related duties or assignments as directed by the Head of IT
