- Identify the regulatory mandates and the respective compliance requirements.
- Identify the internal policy compliance requirements.
- Develop a compliance program that addresses internal, regulatory and adopted industry standards requirements.
- Verify the compliance status of mandates.
- Verify the compliance status with policies, procedure, standards, baselines, regulatory and industry mandates (like PCI DSS).
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc compliance checks.
- Maintain an Up-To-Date compliance status repository.
- Facilitate the management oversight of compliance status by providing regular and ad-hoc status reports.
- Evaluate Information Security activities to assess compliance risk.
- Set plans to manage, rectify compliance violation.
- Address employee concerns or questions on compliance.
- Develop compliance related documentation and reports as required.
- Coordinate internal, external and regulatory audits.
- Facilitate Audit field work and information / evidence gathering.
- Negotiate and act as an intermediary with Internal Audit and internal teams to close current and future audit items.
- Ensure the tracking and timely closure of audit findings.
- Facilitate the management oversight of audit findings by providing regular and ad-hoc status reports.
