4.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 General
4.1.1 Knowledge
4.1.1.1 Performs evaluation of new and existing patients to determine priority and suitability of treatment and/or need for modifications.
4.1.1.2 Investigates and takes advantage of opportunities to streamline the process of patient care while maintaining quality and safety.
4.1.1.3 Prioritizes plan of care based on patient care needs.
4.1.1.4 Participates in the implementation and evaluation of the nursing professional practice model.
4.1.1.5 Participates in Patient Safety and Family Education Program
4.1.1.6 Clinical decisions based on data collection i.e. lab value and/or diagnostic test results.
4.1.1.7 Establishes individualized patient care plan and discharge plan.
4.1.1.8 Performs any other duty as directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
4.1.1.9 Involve in shaping research-based nursing practice to provide safe and quality care to promote better patient outcome.
4.1.1.10 Expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards.
