Scope:
Design and deployment of RPA and automation use cases focusses on the transactional areas to automate rule based, high volume activities with limited exceptions. This includes encompassing detailed amenability/ feasibility study to finalize activities/ sub-
activities for automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Help to explore the potential areas for RPA implementation, to better translate the manual
procedures for RPA implementation with the client
Guide finance SME’s and others to gain RPA related knowledge in the RPA area for future run and maintain purpose
Facilitate the interaction between Finance SME’s and the internal IT group to:
o Assess selected As-Is processes at the level of ‘key stroke’ and capturing all the key steps/sub-steps, exceptions etc.
o Identify key systems/applications that are used in a process and gathering technical information around these
o Initiate the development of automation programs (Bot) in modules by splitting the full process into sub-processes/steps; develop and iterate multiple approaches in parallel and integrate them into one program to help complete the end-to-end solution
o Create the Test Bot response based on proposed process description, debug issues based on various exception scenarios and document results
o Finalize automation script and demonstrate several live runs of solution
Management of business driven finance automation projects
Stakeholder relationship management
Presentation and facilitation
Strong understanding of business processes (procedures) and the automation of these
Specific Domain Expertise:
o Extensive experience assessing and prioritizing finance process automation opportunities
o Expertise in design and deployment of RPA / Automation Anywhere solutions
o Analysis and implementation experience with ECC6, S4/Hana platform and Automation Anywhere
o Deep knowledge of SAP processes across multiple modules along with previous implementation experience
o SAP FICO certified senior consultants capable of leading, managing and clearly documenting various identified RPA areas with solid presentation skills
