The Treasury Director is responsible for ensuring that the company always has adequate financing resources in place and managing cash efficiently and effectively.
· Oversee all aspects of the Group’s treasury function, including Cash and liquidity management, capital structure, financial risk management, treasury organization structure and treasury governance and reporting.
· Develop and maintain a strategic treasury function as well as provide treasury input into business planning and performance reviews.
· Define and implement the plans, policies and procedures to manage the treasury risks facing the group.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures for cash management, cash forecasting, banking relationships and banking operations.
· Drive improvement in the management of cash and borrowings across the group including the international countries.
· Oversee all hedging activity related to purchases from franchisors including entering into forwards and options as necessary and helping to ensure FX gains / losses are minimized.
· Perform market risk analysis of existing businesses, business plans and forecasts, as well as potential acquisitions.
· Analyze business plans, forecasts and capex proposals, for alignment with Company investment metrics and to establish short- and medium-term capital needs.
· Ensure Group’s compliance with all financial covenants in accordance with the terms of the Group’s credit agreements.
· Manage and monitor the credit facility portfolio including reviewing credit agreements, obtaining new credit facilities, refinancing existing facilities as necessary.
· Perform stress tests and actively promote forecasting accuracy.
· In conjunction with relevant areas, identify opportunities for, and support the introduction of, technology, automation and process improvements across the department.
· Review, analyze and identify business requirements, while evaluating different treasury products and develop appropriate financing solutions.
· Streamline and review the treasury operations & procedures to ensure compliance with Group’s internal auditors and external regulatory requirements.
· Plan, direct and supervise the activities of assigned team members, setting overall policies, goals and objectives and establishing all departments’ work programs.
· Ensure all employees are adequately coached and performance evaluated to meet the requirements of the role and company.
