Job Description
The Human Resources Manager is responsible and accountable for managing all human resources related activities including those related to training and development, planning and recruitment, and personnel administration. He will ensure that all activities are carried out in an effective manner to support all personnel at the companey.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop the Human Resources department’s annual budget and ensure all employees are working towards achievement of the department’s goals and objectives within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities for the department staff.
- Review the operating results of the Human Resources department and compare them to established objectives and goals, and follow-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
- Manage the training & development activities for the company including developing training plan, delivering and evaluating training.
- Manage the HR planning process to determine the company long-term staffing needs and HR budget.
- Review and approve the job descriptions.
- Review and approve employee contracts and job offers.
- Review, discuss and manage the consolidation of departments’ workforce plans and budget.
- Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to department personnel to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
- Recommend salary adjustments, rewards and promotions based on employee performance. Carry out disciplinary meetings when needed.
- Manage the recruitment activities for the company including sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing, selection, job offers, employment contracts, new employee orientation and probationary period.
