Description
Lead and operationalise the Process Development Strategy and Implementation Programmes across all business units across all geographical locations
Manage and build stakeholder relationships across all divisions to ensure Process Development programmes are delivered.
Lead and develop new Technology solutions through Process Development initiatives which drive the competitive advantage.
Provide ongoing benchmarking against other companies and suppliers to ensure the processes are best in class against resource and production constraints
Provide Leadership and development to the concerned team to ensure service provided to stakeholders meets with expectations.
Lead all cross functional resources associated with Process Development for New Products in all business units to support delivery of the annual operating plan.
Specifically lead Process Development work packages to support all applicable NPD Projects
Identify and present back to the business regularly new technology solutions based on Process Development applications which support delivery of the annual operating plans.
Lead all cross functional resources associated with Process Development for Process Renovation and Value Engineering in all business units to support delivery of the annual operating plans
Lead generation of Value Engineering ideas sessions across all Divisions associated with Process Development and drive VE projects to support VE delivery targets.
Provide and lead Technical support to all stakeholder groups in a timely and effective manner to resolve issues.
Provide specific support to Operations and Capital projects teams for ongoing processes new and movement or commissioning of new equipment delivering to stakeholder expectations
Support major capital projects in design phase, implementation and commissioning phases to meet vertical start up targets.
Profile
PhD and Bachelors Degrees in Food Science and Technology, Engineering or Science.
Minimum of 13-15 years experience latterly in similar senior role within food industry, with knowledge of multi category products including either Cheese or Dairy with multinational company.
The successful individual is likely to have had his research papers published, have been a food scientist who's then moved into R&D with an FMCG business.
Able to live and work in Saudi Arabia
Likely age between 45 and 55 years old
